Abstract: Robert N. Campbell served as Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of California, Davis from 1959-1993. This collection contains ninety-three 35mm slides, most of which were taken by Campbell, during his academic career. Subjects include: campus scenes, people, agricultural machinery and practices, and the Central Valley.

Biography

Robert N. Campbell served as Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of California, Davis from 1959-1993. He received his M.S. (1954) and Ph.D. (1957) from the University of Minnesota. His research focused on the fungal transmission of plant viruses.

Scope and Content

This collection contains ninety-three 35mm slides, most of which were taken by Campbell, during his academic career. Subjects include: campus scenes, people, agricultural machinery and practices, and the Central Valley. The people identified on the slides were employees of the Department of Plant Pathology, unless otherwise noted.
