Consists of historical records, administrative files, meeting minutes, newsletters, program files and local activities including protests, signature gatherings, promoting peace initiatives and congressional legislation pertaining to the Sacramento/Yolo Peace Action Chapter.

The Sacramento Chapter of Peace Action evolved out of the national Peace Action organization. Peace Action originally comprised the combined forces of SANE and FREEZE or SANE/FREEZE; two anti-nuclear proliferation groups. Sacramento-Yolo Peace Action organized local peace demonstrations. A comparable peace organization originating in the Sacramento Area was Grandmothers for Peace.
