The Darlene Gould Davies Collection consists of documents, materials, and ephemera from the Old Globe Theatre as well as personal files and materials collected during her active career in the San Diego community. It contains correspondence, meeting minutes, article clippings, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, journals, flyers, mailings, advertisements, brochures, posters, pamphlets, playbills, invitations, photographs, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, scrapbooks, stationery, and commemorative artifacts. The collection is divided into seven series: Personal Files of Darlene Davies (1910-2013), Old Globe Theatre Files (1979-2015), Promotional Materials (1952-2007), Publications Files (1935-2015), Scrapbooks (1930s-2016), Audiovisual Files (1950-2008), and Artifacts and Memorabilia (1940-2015).
