Description
The Photograph album is a collection of 79 Gelatin DOP black and white photographs of the members of Davis Boy Scout Troop No. 1 and its activities from 1922 to 1927. Photographs show the activities of the Boy Scout troop and the buidling of the Davis Boy Scout Cabin.
Background
The Davis Boy Scout Troop No. 1 was sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and later designated as Troop 66. The Davis troop was part of the Kit Carson Council, and was called the Daniel Boones. The Carson Council was short lived and the troop later became part of Golden Empire Council. It is active as of April, 2009.
