Description
Ron Padgett (1942- ) was a poetry workshop instructor at St. Mark's-in-the-Bowery, New York City (1968-69), poet in various
New York City Poets in the Schools programs (1969-76), writer in the community, South Carolina Arts Commission (1976-78),
director of St. Mark's Poetry Project, New York City (1978-81), and the director of publications for the Teachers and Writers
Collaborative (1982- ). The collection consists of correspondence from poets to Padgett, and some manuscripts.
