Series Description

This series contains graphic design materials created by Struzenberg for ACT UP Golden Gate and ACT UP San Francisco. It also includes materials that document the history of ACT NOW. In addition, there are papers and newsletters that reflect the organizational structure and processes of ACT UP Golden Gate, such as agendas for meetings; proposals for the media relations committee; information gathered about the "Castro Police Riot"; information gathered about the AIDS epidemic; posters, notes, stickers and information on planning for protests at the 6h International AIDS Conference, including forged press passes created by Struzenberg. This series also includes material from various ACT Up chapters in the Bay area and California.
