Biographical/Historical Sketch
A Stanford graduate (A.B. 1919, M.D. 1927), Donald Tresidder was President of the Curry Company of Yosemite Park (1925-1948),
a member of the Stanford Board of Trustees and its President (1939-1942), and fourth President of Stanford University (1943-1948).
Office files of the President's Office during Tresidder's tenure as President, 1943-1948. Also included is material from the
earlier presidency of Dr. Ray Lyman Wilbur, who became Chancellor of the University in 1942.
