The collection consists of scripts and production material for numerous episodes of the series NBC Matinee Theater.

    Matinee theater (October 1955-June 1958) was hosted by John Conte; the series featured some 7,000 actors in approximately 650 productions and was produced by Albert McCleery.

    Collection consists of scripts and production material for the series NBC Matinee Theater. Includes numerous episodes including “Arms and the man,” “Arrowsmith,” “The Aspern papers,” “The Cask of Amontillado,” “Dark victory,” “Emma,” “The Europeans,” “The Gioconda smile,” “The House of seven gables,” “The Inspector general,” “The Master builder,” “Much ado about nothing,” “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” and “Washington Square.”
