Batchelder was the first student to register at Stanford, October 1, 1891. He attended Stanford 1891-1893 and 1903-1904.
Correspondence of Batchelder with family and friends pertains to student life at Stanford. Collection also includes correspondence
(1939) from Mrs. Grace Batchelder about her husband, Francis, and correspondence regarding the donation of the letters to
Stanford.
