Description
Charlie Ruggles (1892-1970) made his first theatrical appearance at the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco. He later appeared in motion pictures. The collection consists of photographs, keybooks, annotated plays and scripts, clippings, fan letters, telegrams, playbills, framed awards, and ephemera relating to Ruggles' stage and motion picture career.

Ruggles was born on February 8, 1892 in Los Angeles; he made his first theatrical appearance at the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco; he later appeared in motion pictures; he died in December 1970.
