    Scope and Content of Collection

    The collection consists of bids, contracts, correspondence, plans, architectural drawings, photographs, and inventories. Important topics include the restoration of Giant Forest (including the removal of the old facilities and the construction of the Wuksachi Lodge), the construction of the John Muir Lodge at Grant Grove, Mission 66 projects, trail work, and Park signage.

    Arrangement

    The collection is organized into four series: Series I Giant Forest Restoration Project Number 200; Series II Other Construction Projects; Series III Backcountry Maintenance Projects; and Series IV Park Signage Inventory.
