Historical Note
What was the Russkii Katolicheskii TSentr in San Francisco is now Our Lady of Fatima Byzantine Catholic Church, an Eastern-Rite
Catholic parish grounded in the Russian tradition. At some point in the 1960s the center began collecting books and manuscript
materials with the idea of becoming a cultural and politico-religious institute. The center eventually chose not to pursue
this line of development and transferred to Hoover the material in this collection.
