Scope and Content of Collection
The collection contains correspondence, documents, maps, photographs, and ephemera of Louis deKeyser Belden, a surgeon and
captain in the Medical Corps during WWI. Belden was born Dec. 7, 1888, and graduated from the University of North Carolina
in 1910.
The collection also includes some later non-WWI material relating to North Carolina.
