H. Beal under the direction of Prof. A. F. Rogers, 1911 (bound typescript); Rogers' notebook on "crystallographic constants
of the important mineral species" begun in 1897; copy of Rogers' INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY OF MINERALS (1937) heavily annotated
by him; and notes and other papers removed from the book, 1940-47 and undated.
Austin Flint Rogers, A.B. and A.M. University of Kansas and Ph.D. Columbia, 1902, was professor of mineralogy at Stanford
University from 1905 to 1942.
