Scope and Content Note

  • Boxes 1 and 2 contain an alphabetical sequence in folders marked A - Z (Box 1: A-L and Box 2: M-Z).
  • Boxes 3 and 4 contain files under the names of authors and agencies.
Boxes 5-9

Correspondence. ca. 1960s-1978

Scope and Content Note

Formerly contained in 2 metal file drawers. Like the “early correspondence,” there is amixture of alphabetical sequences in files marked “A,” “B,” etc. to “Z” and files under names of authors.
Box 9 contains the last paper written by Professor Brodie, October 1978, in response to a request from the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

  • Boxes 10-21 contain original files labeled with title and date, arranged chronologically.
  • The files, which include speeches as well as written items, contain manuscripts, offprints and very occasionally original correspondence.
  • Boxes 22 and 23 comprise printed and typed (copy) materials found loose in the collection.
