The photographs are of her dorm room, campus buildings and scenes, fraternity houses, other students, the board of the Students' Guild, and the booths in the Quad arcades created for the Promenade Concert during the 1904 commencement week.

Biographical/Historical Sketch

Ruth Laird Kimball earned her A.B. in English at Stanford in 1904; as a student she was active in the English Club, worked on the student production of "The Knight of the Burning Pestle," served on the Board of Directors for the Students' Guild, and was vice-president of the Senior Class. She died on August 16, 1917.
