Biographical/Historical Sketch

This committee was established by President Kenneth S. Pitzer following recommendation from the Academic Council; it was composed of representatives from the faculty, administration, military science department, and students. The committee's obligation was to make recommendations regarding the retention, modification, or termination of a reserve officers' training program at Stanford.
