Scope and Content of Collection

This is a 36 page (unpaginated) booklet in English with printed photographs and illustrations with no publication information. It appears to have been printed in Japan (note style of romanization of Japanese place names) and highlights various aspects of Japan's geography, culture, and industry. The booklet includes a color map of the Japnese islands which also shows eastern China, Korea, and Manchuria. There are also two pages on Manchoukuo (Manzhouguo) which existed from 1931 to 1945. This was a nominally independent puppet state established by the Japanese in Manchuria. The map and some of the illustrations are in color.
