Scope and Content of Collection
The UCSB Bookstore is located in the University Center and sells textbooks and related course and school supplies as well
as non-required reading, including fiction, magazines, gifts, and UCSB merchandise.
Arrangement
The collection contains the following series:
Series I, Bookstore & Coffeeshop (1947-1961), contains mainly inventory and budget reports, and correspondence relating to the early UCSB book store and coffee shop, managed
together.
Series II, Bookstore (1972-2008), contains mainly flyers and publications from the UCSB Bookstore relating to textbook and computer sales, events, hours, etc.
