Description
Materials document Atwood's student experience at Stanford University between 1919 and 1923. Also included are biographical materials about Atwood.
Background
David Stoddard Atwood was born July 27, 1896 in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned an A.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1923. While attending Stanford, Atwood participated in several dramatic theater organizations including the Sword and Sandals Society and the Masquer’s Society, and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
