The collection contains correspondence, photographs, and posters, mainly for minstrel shows in Iowa and Illinois in the 1880s and 1890s. Included are items for the Barlow, Wilson, Primrose & West's Minstrels, Duprez & Benedicts Gigantic Minstrels, the Lady Minstrels, and the Wapello 'Indians' Big Minstrels.
