Ten lithographed hand-colored maps of
Vienna published (and possibly drawn) by Austrian cartographer Carl Graf Vasquez. One print
shows the city and neighboring districts in the medieval era (1147); the remaining prints
show the city in the years prior to modernization efforts in the mid-19th century. The
border of each map contains 14 views of Viennese monuments.
The Austrian cartographer Carl Graf Vasquez was born ca. 1798 and died in 1861.
