    Biographical/Historical Sketch

    The Stanford Repertory Theatre (SRT) represented an attempt to establish a professional repertory theatre on the Stanford campus. Originally funded by the Rockefeller Foundation with a matching grant from the University, it was phased out at the end of the grant as an unsuccessful and expensive project.
