Stanford subjects include 1940-41 football games, 1941 Rose Bowl, track meet at Stanford, events at Lake Lagunita, dorm life, Farm Days 1940-41, and intramural badminton teams (Wabbits). Family subjects include camping trips and other excursions, family homes, 1939 Salinas Fair, and people.

Barbara J. Smith (Mrs. John Caughlin Richards) earned her AB in political science at Stanford University in 1942.
