Scope and Content of Collection
Photograph album, mainly of Han-Keou (Han-kow), China, ca. 1906. 13 black/white mounted photographs, most with extensive captions
in French, including street scenes and buildings in Han-Keou, a pagoda, the Russian Orthodox Church, towers for raising irrigation
water, shots of a sash vendor, a group of coolies, people unloading charcoal, the Han-Keou prefecture de police, and a man
in a wooden cage condemned to die from hunger.
