Abstract: Political posters and ephemera (including T-shirt, buttons, cap, tarps, posters, newsletters and leafelts) from the 2003 and
2019 Nigerian elections.

The collection consists of four accessions. Three of the accessions contain 16 large vinyl banners and other ephemera (T-shirt,
buttons, newsletters and leafelts) from the 2003 Nigerian elections.
The fourth accession, 2019-391, is from the 2019 Nigerian federal election and includes 6 large vinyl banners, 24 posters,
1 baseball hat, and 1 t-shirt. The banners are folded and have a print-out of a black-and-white photograph of the banners
with listed dimensions. There are also a small number of print-outs of Wikipedia articles on some of the candidates and news
articles about the elections.
Open for research. Note that material must be requested at least 36 hours in advance of intended use.

Ameh Ebute, and Emmanuel Okereke.
15 of the posters are in English and 1 poster is in Kanem. The posters are a gift of Nahomi Ichino.
