Biography

Howard was born on May 18, 1895, in Baltimore, Maryland; attended UC Berkeley (1912-15), and studied literature and psychology at Harvard and Columbia; in 1923 became a lecturer and instructor at the extension division, University of California; publications include Famous Californians of today and yesterday (1923); he died on May 17, 1943.

Collection consists of manuscripts of poems, articles, an unpublished novel, and published works by Eric Howard.
