Description
Writings, correspondence, notes, genealogical charts, certificates, and photographs relating to the history of the Svi͡atopolk-Mirskiĭ family from the tenth to the twentieth century and to Russian émigré affairs. Consists mainly of drafts of, and working materials for, a genealogical history. Includes photographs of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra.
Background
Nikolaĭ Vladimirovich Svi͡atopolk-Mirskiĭ was a Russian aristocrat, émigré to Yugoslavia and Switzerland, and interpreter for the Yugoslav delegation to the League of Nations.
