Description
Nathaniel Delos Hudson (1901-1982) served as Assistant Director of the University of California Agricultural Extension Service from 1951-1965. His Papers contain correspondence, speeches, an oral history, and photographs relating to his work with the Agricultural Extension Service. Also included are slides from a trip to South America that Hudson took with the California Farm Bureau Federation in January 1965.
Background
Nathaniel Delos Hudson (1901-1982) graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1922 with a B.S. in Animal Husbandry. After graduation, Hudson worked for a year as a technical assistant in the University of California Farm Division before operating his own farm in Fresno County from 1924-1928.
