Description
This collection consists of the files of activist and sociologist Dr. Wendy Griffin, documenting women's rights activities in Orange County, California between 1974 and 1992. Topics include the push for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, reproductive freedom, and the effects of the "new right." There is also information about her work to publicize the motives and anti-women's rights voting record of California State Senate Minority Leader William Campbell. Materials included are newspaper clippings, brochures, newsletters, flyers, reports, U-matic videocassettes, and correspondence.
