Biography
Edward S. Podesta (1917-1977) was a military historian for the Army during the Korean Conflict/War.
A native of San Jose, he attended San Jose State and graduated from Stanford. He served in the Army as a lieutenant colonel.
An economist and behavioral scientist, he worked for Stanford Research Institute and had participated in field studies of
educational sites in Ecuador, Jamaica, West Cameroon, Nigeria, Morocco, Portugal and Saudi Arabia.
He died at home in September 1977.

This collection contains propaganda leaflets, flyers, and other documents collected by Podesta during his tour of duty as
a military historian during the Korean Conflict/War.
