Biography

Moody was born in 1900; he became an architect, playwright, and novelist who made his home in Southern California; works include The questionable Elaine, a three-act play produced in 1930, and Sleep in the sun, a novel published in 1945; he died in 1944.

Scope and Content

Collection consists of manuscripts, a book, press clippings and reviews relating to Alan Moody. Includes a copy of his Sleep in the sun. Manuscripts include All but the bride, The high street, Myra, The restless flame, and To the son!
