Biographical/Historical Sketch
The April 3rd Movement was a student group at Stanford University protesting the
university's connection with military and counter-insurgency research, specifically the
Stanford Research Institute and the Applied Electronics Laboratory. They led a 9-day
occupation of AEL and a sit-in at Encina Hall (the university's administrative offices).
Description of the Collection
