Description
The Business and Financial Affairs Division Records dates from 1940-1998. It consists solely of paper records. Included are annual reports providing statistical breakdowns of enrollment at San Diego State from 1940-1957, financial reports breaking down the university's funds, revenues, expenditures, and endowments from 1976-1983 and 1992-1998. The collection is arranged chronologically.
Background
The University's Business and Financial Affairs department works to serve both the campus community and authoritative agencies such as the Federal and State governments, the California State University Chancellor, and the City and County of San Diego. The mission of Business and Financial Affairs is to ensure a safe, productive campus environment while providing the highest quality service in support of academic excellence. Primary to that mission is the thoughtful stewardship of financial, technological, infrastructure, and human resources at San Diego State University. The department is includes Budget and Finance, Business Services, Environmental health and Safety, Facilities Planning, Design and Construction, Public Safety, and Physical Plant.
