This collection contains manuscripts, press clippings, correspondence, and other material from Ret Marut's early days in Germany, chiefly Düsseldorf and Munich, including a complete run of the journal Ziegelbrenner. Ret Marut is thought to be the actual identity of the author B. Traven.
