Collection consists of photocopies of biographical materials including drafts of the memorial resolution on Terman, newspaper articles and obituaries, list of his patents, speeches and a few articles by Terman, text of remarks from a dinner in honor of Terman in 1977, and several published articles on Terman and Silicon Valley. One of the biographical essays and some of the correspondence are by Oswald G. Villard.

Biographical / historical:

Frederick Emmons Terman (1900-1982) was an American electrical engineer known for his contributions to electronics research and anti-radar technology. He was the former dean of engineering and later the provost of Stanford University.
