Scope and Content of Collection
Contains views of San Francisco; Valparaiso Park in Atherton (identified by handwritten notes on verso); Mammoth Tree Grove;
Yosemite; and Sitka and Fort Wrangle, Alaska. The majority of the images are of San Francisco, especially of Woodward's Gardens,
and include a few of Japanese performers. There are also a couple of views of the damage from the 1868 San Francisco earthquake.
Stereo mounts bear the name Helios, which was Muybridge's professional name at the time.
