Collection consists of a printed scrapbook (College Girls' Record by Virginia Woodson Frame) in which Faris added brief entries. Items added to the volume include a valentine; photographs of coeds and of students ready for a golf game; and a clipping of a poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar.

Margaret Summers Faris earned an AB in history at Stanford in 1903; she married David Morrill Folsom (AB 1902) in June 1907. She died in May 1908.
