Inglis upon his promotion to Rear Admiral, 2 November 1945; and 3 prints depicting the ceremony held in the Soviet Embassy in Washington, D.C., December 7, 1945, during which the Soviet attache Nikolai V. Novikov presented Rear Admiral Inglis with 190 medals awarded to U.S. naval officers for "outstanding military activities in transporting goods to Murmansk"
