Scope and Content of Collection

The Committee on the University and the Community was formed "to give community review to the local coastal plan and Long Range Development Plan as they developed, and to serve as a forum to clear up the misunderstandings between the community and the university" (Minutes, Sept. 5, 1986).
The collection contains meeting minutes & agendas, reports, memos and correspondence, and articles. Subject matter includes enrollment, the Coastal Plan, housing, campus growth issues. Collection arranged chronologically.
