Biography
Henry Goldman matriculated to the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn after graduating from the Hebrew Technical Institute in
1902 and later with a Bachelors degree in General Science from the Cooper Union in 1909. In the year 1913, Goldman received
his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn after which he went on to pursue his graduate
education at New York University. Goldman earned a Master of Arts degree from NYU in 1915 and advanced to candidacy for a
Doctorate in Pedagogy at that same university in 1918. From this point on through the latter part of his life, Goldman studied
and wrote on issues in applied and theoretical psychology.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of lecture notes (1934-35), school notebooks (1898-1910), commencement programs and invitations, bound
copies of Goldman's theses for civil engineer and masters' degrees, clippings, illustrations and a photograph.
Organization and Arrangement
The collection has been arranged according to document type and format, as well as maintaining a rough chronological order
documenting the creator's educational trajectory.
