Primarily files relating to Jing Lyman's activities in community affairs, the Women's
Resource Center, the Women and Foundations/Corporate Philanthropy, HUB, and with various
foundations and executive boards.
Background
Elizabeth "Jing" Lyman (1925-2013) was communitiy activist who organized and sustained many
foundations and coalitions, including Women and Foundations/Corporate Philanthropy, HUB, and
the Women's Resource Center, among many others. She was the wife of Richard Lyman, 7th
president of Stanford University.
