Escondita Cottage and other university buildings, fraternity houses, and student athletics (football, baseball, and golf).
Images of note include a horse cab on University Avenue, Palo Alto; David S. Jordan at a cornerstone laying (probably the
1898 library); Encina dining hall; and the teaching skeleton in a dress.

Biographical/Historical Sketch
Amy Ferguson earned her A.B. in English at Stanford University in 1902; she married Harry James Edwards, Stanford Class of
1901, in 1907. As a student she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. Her sister Agnes Ferguson (Mrs. Walter G. Hunter)
earned her A.B. in Latin at Stanford in 1898.
