Biography
David H. Stanford, of Berkeley, California, was a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, during its early years
as an institution. While there he documented the anti-war activities of students through his written work and by collecting
ephemera about rallies and peace movement activites. David also publishes Animal Mitchell Publications.
Scope and Content of the Collection
The collection consists of original and photocopied manuscripts, including descriptions of protest events in early University
of California at Santa Cruz years, autobiographical and travel journals, and cartoon drawings by UCSC student David Stanford.
