Description
This collection includes original and photocopied manuscripts, including descriptions of protest events in early University of California, Santa Cruz, years; autobiographical and travel journals, cartoons and Animal Mitchell Publications by UCSC student David H. Stanford.
Background
David H. Stanford, of Berkeley, California, was a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, during its early years as an institution. While there he documented the anti-war activities of students through his written work and by collecting ephemera about rallies and peace movement activites. David also publishes Animal Mitchell Publications.
