Abstract: Maurice G. Blair (1889-1963) was a vice principal and then a principal in the Los Angeles city schools. He also held various
supervisorial posts in the Los Angeles City School System. The collection consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs,
yearbooks, and memorabilia relating to his career.

Blair was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on September 17, 1889; graduated from University of Southern California; was
a vice principal and then a principal in the Los Angeles city schools; held various supervisorial posts in Los Angeles City
School System; assistant supervisor, educational curriculum division; died January 21, 1963.

Collection consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs, yearbooks, and memorabilia relating to the career of Los Angeles
educator and curriculum specialist, Dr. Maurice G. Blair.
