    Abstract: Paul Bartlett (1909- ) was born in Missouri. He edited the literary annual, Workshop, the only issue of which was published in Ciudad Guzman, Mexico in 1942. The collection consists of literary manuscripts, notes, and letters sent to Paul Bartlett as editor of the literary annual, Workshop.

    Biography

    Bartlett was born July 13, 1909 in Moberly, Missouri; attended Oberlin College, University of Arizona, and National University of Mexico; edited a literary annual, Workshop, the only issue of which was published in Ciudad Guzman, Mexico in 1942; wrote short stories and a novel, When the Owl Cries (1960).

    Scope and Content

    Collection consists of literary manuscripts, notes, and letters sent to Paul Bartlett as editor of the literary annual, Workshop. Includes manuscripts from American Paul Goodman, Samuel French Morse, James Laughlin, Charles Henri Ford, Gustav Davidson, C.B. Loomis, John Maher Murphy, Helen Scales, and Saul Gottlieb. Also includes manuscripts from Britons George Sims, Nigel Heseltine, Alex Comfort, Brenda Chamberlain, Daphne Henham, and others.
