Description
The Discovery Community was established to promote the welfare of gay and lesbian persons by providing opportunities for personal
growth and community building, and working to eliminate prejudice based on sexual orientation. Discovery holds retreats, produces
social events, and provides a forum for men (largely) to explore their sexuality. The bulk of the collection consists of materials
about retreats, but it also includes financial records, organizational records (including by-laws), board and other meeting
minutes and a light blue banner (88 in. wide and 34 in. high).
Availability
Collection is open for research. Mailing lists and other records holding the names, addresses, and/or phone numbers of individuals
