Description
The collection is a scrapbook of the creation and activities of the Crime Prevention Committee of Contra Costa County Inc.,
from 1977 to 1984. The committee included private citizens and law enforcement personnel from each city in the county.
Background
The scrapbook was donated to CCCHS by the Lafayette Historical Society in 2015. The countywide crime prevention committee
no longer exists, as many communities in the county now have their own crime prevention committees.
