This is a scrapbook of articles by Genevieve Farnell-Bond clipped from the Los Angeles Times in 1914. The scrapbook has been given the title "History and Activities of Los Angeles and Vicinity." No compiler is named, but the endpapers are stamped "Southwest Museum, Inc. Alliot." Articles cover topics such as fire fighters, governors, parks, pioneers, the postal service, street names, and the water system in early Los Angeles.

Biographical Note

Genevieve Farnell Bond (d. 1961) was a journalist and poet, who lived in Los Angeles until she moved with her husband Rollin Bond to Washington, D.C. Her book, The Faun: And Other Poems was published in 1913.
